Meadows Farms Golf Course, now recognized as one of the finest golf courses in Virginia, was envisioned by Bill “Farmer” Meadows, who sadly passed away in March 2017. He was a well known man, also the former owner of Meadows Farms Nurseries. Bill took up golf in 1990, and as he honed his skills, he began to imagine a different type of golf course. The picturesque rolling countryside of his pure-bred Santa Gertrudis Cattle farm, located in Locust Grove, Virginia, provided the perfect backdrop for his vision.

The course is conveniently located about 70 miles from Washington, D.C., and Richmond, 50 miles from Charlottesville, and just 20 miles from Fredericksburg and Culpeper. Our commitment to offering players a “no-frills” course at an affordable price ensures a unique and enjoyable golf experience.
