The Suffolk Education Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit created in 1993. Our mission is to support
Suffolk Public Schools by connecting the community’s talents and resources to expand educational
opportunities for students and staff.

The tournament features a Shotgun Start is at 1 p.m. at Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk.  Registration includes 18 holes on an award-winning course, range balls, a boxed lunch, awards, a chicken & BBQ dinner, beverages along the course, as well as the opportunity to win raffle prizes and network with area leaders.  The event will feature Florida Best Ball, and prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin, and of course, a hole-in-one contest.Players can arrive beginning at 11:30 a.m, when the driving range and putting green opens for participants.

The golf tournament is one of the major ways the SEF raises funds, so we can provide scholarships, instructional grants, staff development and recognition, and technology support for the staff and students of Suffolk Public Schools.

Our 22nd annual tournament honors Dr. Milton Liverman, who served Suffolk Public Schools for 36 years including 10 years as its Superintendent.  Dr. Liverman loved golf and was deeply committed to helping young people make a difference in their community and achieve their potential.
